Baby, I Miss...

Baby, I Miss...

A Poem by timthy
"

Another addition to a track record of lost loves....

"

Baby , I miss

The smell of your perfume

Dancing in the dark

In our living room

Baby, I miss

The touch of your hand

Wish things had turned out

Just like we had planned

Baby, I miss

The taste of your tears

The smell of your skin

Will haunt me for years

Baby, I miss

The warmth of your breath

Existing without you

Would be a fate worse than death

Baby, I miss

The way you held me so strong

Only thing that was right

Amidst all that was wrong

Baby, I miss

When the radio would play "our song"

How we would sing to each other

The entire night long

Baby, I miss

Our walks in the park

Our spontaneous excursions

Our jaunts after dark

Baby. I miss

When you were mine

When we thought the same things

At the same time

I miss laughing together

At the same things

Enjoying love and laughter

And the joy that it brings

Baby, I miss

When I could not stand on my own

Always held me up higher

When I felt all alone

Baby, I miss

Your unconditional love

That you showered upon me

A  gift from above

Baby, I miss

Your everlasting embrace

Your soothing hug surrounds me

There is no better place

Everything about you

Is exactly what I miss

For you completely stole my heart

From that first enchanted kiss.
