Little Spirit

Little Spirit

A Poem by Your Favorite Niche
"

a poem about finding childlike joy

"
And if I ever feel this way again
let it resound for a thousand miles and a thousand more years
echoing from a little spirit I used to call my own.
And to think, it never quite left me
the world transformed my soul into a whisper
that I still hear every once in a while
reminding me that I am allowed to be loud
to create my own shift.
And if I ever  feel this way again
I'll nurture it until my very last breath
and the day I die will not be full of loss, wondering what could have been
because I created more from
what was left of me
