A Poem by - bianca

daddy daddy daddy
you’ve been drinking forever
it was six to seven bottles
only this week!

please come out, and play with me

we can drive around the run-down city
it doesn’t have to be a new monster-high girl
we can eat hamburgers with mint n’ chip ice cream
I heard there is going to be a new alien episode
but it’s okay, and I’m only nine. I’ve got plenty of ideas
to entertain!

daddy daddy daddy
please get out of bed
I hear you kicking and screaming
you’re sleepwalking again
I’ve made strawberry cupcakes to eat
oh? the orange juice went bad
I had to throw it out
or that it doesn’t go with vodka
that you try so hard to hide
behind that tall glass

daddy daddy daddy
please don’t die this week
record the next episode on Tuesday, fix the steps on Thursday
please don’t die this week
I’ll call you on Wednesday, text you on Monday
please don’t die this week
remember to pick me up on Friday!

This is chilling but all to common. My personal experience was similar unfortunately.
