There's Beauty in Love

This was for the once love of my life, but that relationship has ended.

I must say that for a minute,

I thought that we'd get into it.

Yelling and screaming; horrified actions.

Things we did not want to happen.

 

But now I will say that everything is good

And now I will stay this way for good

For better or for worse, we'll always pull through,

I have faith that we'll always pull through

 

No longer will we engage into thoughtless actions with our selfish emotions

We shall put thought into everything we say, and never forget our promise to eachother

 

Going from faithless words such as, "I love you. Is that not enough?"

To the renewed 'fuzzy feeling' words that leave one with a smile brighter than that of a thousand suns

 

Maybe you are the one, maybe you're not

But how could that matter in such youthful lives

Even with hints of marriage that are in disguise

 

Love you more than I've ever loved someone before

Our love is power over hate

 

You, darling, compare to a beautiful, sparkling diamond.

Diamonds cannot be made, you have to find them.

And I have found the one most precious of them all

 

So many things I would like to say

Countless, blissful emotions I experience

Tons of other people in this world

But for now all I can do is love you

Great Poem, The 7th stanza is my favorite, how you compared a person to a diamond and added a twist in the end. The imagery and emotion in this poem are easily read. An entertaining read, keep writing.
