Purple Loosestrife

Purple Loosestrife

A Poem by shiloh jennings
"

I must've written this when I was 13 or so.. I remember getting an article about not bringing any of this plant home to your gardens, because it was taking over swamp lands.....

"

Purple Loostrife fills the fields,

Its everywhere you are.

You see it here or there,

From close or from afar.

How can something so beautiful

Cause such utter pain,

Just because its there,

Growing in the rain.

Nice. Its short yet it still conveys beautiful imagery. Loved it. I actually felt like I was standing in that field.
