The Vodka Lake

The Vodka Lake

A Story by Smokey

The vodka lake is deep and vast; deeper than depth itself, and vaster than the oceans of time. The locals sometimes swim, but always sink. They dive, but never surface. The children play in the shallows, but are always, always swallowed into the dark abyss. In the nearby cities the citizens can smell the aphrodisiac, they are pulled to the lake, and drink the elixer, and like the others...plummit to the bottom of the pond. There they lie in, there they sleep...there they die. At the bottom of the vodka lake.
