Will you be my valentine?

A sweet yet horrifying chapter of my life. Written off!

Sitting under the sun

 

With a paper and pen

 

I'm writing this story looking at the sky

 

About two letters 'U' and 'I'

 

 

 

 

I spent 23 years of my life alone

 

Looking for that special one

 

In my school, my college, the office I went to

 

And in the clubs, the parties, the weddings I was invited to

 

But girl then I finally met you online

 

You looked so beautiful and so fine

 

 

 

 

 

 

Time passed by and we came closer

 

I started knowing you better

 

You were so simple and fell on me like rain

 

Just like I was going through an old book once again

 

There was something really special about you

 

I forgot all the bad times I had been through

 

You are so beautiful that I was enchanted

 

I found the craziness and the awesomeness I wanted

 

That's when I thought you could be mine

 

And this February you could be my valentine

 

 

 

 

 

 

The feeling of not being together in future got me scared

 

I forgot the good times and the things you shared

 

Every day we started fighting

 

Every night we fell in love

 

But then the fights got bigger

 

And my love got weaker

 

You kept on giving your best

 

And I kept on failing every test

 

My childish fears made me whine

 

But that feeling I had, I still can't define

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then came the time you waited for so long

 

You were so sure that nothing could go wrong

 

You forgot everything and asked me to stay

 

But I didn't listen and pushed you away

 

My fear killed what could've been a brand new start

 

And I left you alone with a broken heart

 

All you wanted was to be my valentine

 

But I was just hopeless and there was no sign

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now I feel sorry for all that crap and s**t

 

I know you'll forgive me but you won't forget it

 

With all the guilts of being selfish and the madness

 

I'll wait till the end for your forgiveness

 

I know you are hurt and I know you are far

 

But I'll make efforts to heal every scar

 

Now I know I want you to be mine

 

Next February I want you to be my valentine

 

 

 

 

 

 

Its gonna start with a movie and then we'll dine

 

With a romantic song in the background and a bottle of wine

 

Going on my knees I'll kiss your hand and ask for a dance

 

I just want you to give me another chance

 

Just one more favor I want you to do
