this is my favorite Zainul, as the Magnolia is my home state flower (Louisiana), and I have loved the beautiful blooms all of my life.
this Haiku speaks to me of the Seasons... of the transformation from
Spring into Winter-- too late the heedless Gardener (better luck
next year!) Thanks for sharing this.

He clearly did, yet the beautiful non-poison is smothered out by beautiful poison like the kiss of death. Is that not love, I wonder. Of your best, zainul!

The magnolia has long been associated with beauty and the mistletoe traditionally as sexual symbol in ancient Celtic Druids. Your poem denotes a monotonous life where people were blinded by routines and forget that love is just in corner waiting to be plucked. While routine gives some comfort and security, it sometimes gets too comfortable and leads to a lack of action.

Great work!

Thank you, Shari.
Your review has depicted my personal sadness.
Nice metaphors. Magnolia blossoms are stunning and so expansive, like youth love sometimes.
