The Spring

The  killer tornado that invades  nations  is called The Spring

It is not the  climatic condition  that beautifies everything

It creates horrors , snatches justice and topples thrones

Human lives suffer   tragic deaths leaving ugly bones

 

The infamous Spring was born long ago when nations grew

It  lurked on cold  mountains and rough oceans  to live anew

It flew like  eagle to snatch away peace from prosperous nation

Sucking blood, looting modesty  and causing fires is its passion

 

You know that many civilizations were buried under ground

I speculate that the devastation were caused by this hound

Last time it settled in Arab lands for conducting its carnage

This time it’s heading towards Americas for merciless rage

 

People aspire to enjoy the luscious  greens and flowers of  spring

Their hearts are broken by the nasty tornado and its painful sting

A tornado can be very dangerous. Not so many In Michigan. I lived in Texas for six year with the Army. Many came near and one hit the Army base.

an interesting poem zainul. i've never associated spring as a killer season, but I guess it is in some countries.

our summer brings cyclones & I think we get about 6 in most years, in the northern parts of australia. some are not too bad, but others can be highly destructive.
we had one 16 years ago we had bought our house & had not yet moved in & the hail damaged our whole roof, which had to be replaced. this took quite some time because there so many houses with hail & water damage.

Based on my lifetime experiences with Spring, this is quite a revelation.
In our area, it is a time of rebirth and harsh conditions rarely, if ever take place.
Additionally, this year, both Spring and vaccines will arrive at the same time creating an even more favorable situation

I agree, Spring is when tornadoes hit the most, taking the breath out of everything in its sight; I expect that ions ago, cities were buried when raging fires and tornadoes buried them; This year in America, we had our share of tornadoes, killing dozens of innocent people, a horrific sight to see. This is all because of climate change, though many don't believe it. Nicely written and very relevant.

Mother Nature can be terrifying at times. You speak of tornadoes that ravage the land. I live where hurricanes do the same. You don't have much time to prepare for a tornado. Of course, in addition to weather woes, this spring we are dealing with riots in the streets and the Covid-19 virus.....the world is in the vortex of a strange tornado indeed. Well written, Zainul. Spring this year in the UK has been the hottest on record. It has been truly beautiful amid a pandemic. The contrast couldn't be greater, renewal and death on the doorstep at the same time. It has been a terrible time for people who have suffered loss and devastation while the planet is taking a breather. The air quality in my part of the country has improved dramatically. Whilst all this has been going on we now have violent protests in the USA to add more distress. Your poem took me to many places zainul and most of them weren't where I would choose to be. Well penned my friend.
