Artist's Eye

Artist's Eye

A Poem by Zelda
"

A Waking Dream

"

In artist's mind
A pictured girl
Faded yet sharp
A waking dream

In artist's eye
An image that is perfected
The shadows so darkened
The lights so bright
The contrasts play across the frame
The eyes, though muted
Speak volumes

The normal made unique
The common made rare
Captured, immobile
Frozen in a moment
Immortal
