Cloud

"

Against a powder blue sky,
A soft white cloud
Passes overhead.
Lost from the others,
It stands out from the rest.
It's path is steady
And well navigated.

An impassive glance
Briefly catches sight.
And it stops moving,
If only for a second.

A glance away,
And time continues.
The wind wisps away
What was there.
Nothing left but a vivid memory
Of something so vague.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
