No, Child!

No!
You, there!
Child!
Take your hands from my vines.
This fruit is not yet ripe for the picking.
Have you never been taught this?
You must wait for the fruit to turn red.
A little green never hurt anybody,
But, Man!
You must allow this to grow larger
Than a marble from your foolish kids' games.
Allow it to mature and breathe, for now.
Come back when it is ready for you.
