"
A comfort, yes?
Hiding behind closed doors,
And behind the invinsible.
Cowering behind the mask,
And becoming an empty shell.

Without your mighty sword in hand,
You cannot write with the blood of another.

Vulnerable to assult,
Give a smile,
And carry on.

I liked its structure a lot, very different...yet it flowed perfectly well!

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
