Gravity

Everything
Honestly everything
Is falling.
Around
All around
There's no stopping it.

Gravity pulls on
The white curtains
Surrounding this life.
They shudder in the
Still air
Unprovoked.

Silver rings
Clang against the pole
Cracks shake
Through the wall
Through the roof
Through the foundation.

The tendency of closed eyes.

This is amazing! So balenced and detailed, thought-provoking word choice- excellect job, Kelli! X) I love this deep theme as well.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
