Child sways in the wind
Enjoy the cool kisses
Shivering with innocence

Father's eyes scan the field
Pause upon the child
Stalk unweildingly slouched

Bring forth the poles
Tie withering twine
Restrain the child

Teach her manners
Sit straight
Stand proud

Tears roll down
Struggling petals
With perfect stalk
