The End

The End

Just lay back.
Relax.
What will happen next,
I cannot say.
Will anything happen?
Or will be crash to an end?

Close your eyes.
You cannot control your feet
any longer.
Only your head.
So stop.
Stop trying.

But lend me your hang,
it's something I crave.
The comfort once known,
but never again touched.
Your warmth I cannot feel.
Not today.

Let's start again.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
