Kokoro

Kokoro

A Poem by Kelli Wyatt
"

11-16-09 12:01 AM "Kokoro" is Japanese for "heart."

"

Left there and bleeding,
I was.
Round with twine,
I was.
Cut through and through,
I was.

Now never used,
I am.
Now simply forgotten,
I am.
Still lying on the floor,
I am.

I have lost my meaning.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
