Tranquility

Tranquility

A Poem by Kelli Wyatt
"

Another old one. 12-30-08, 12:03 PM

"
Clouds vaguely block the sunlight from above
Children lean head heaven-bound
With questioning eyes
Rain falls slowly to the ground
The rays of light turning each drop into a tiny diamond
And the curve of color
High above human hands.

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
