A Poem by Kelli Wyatt
"

Another old one. 12-30-08, 12:40 PM

"
Lashes,
Curled up to prove her point,
They turn down to the page,
Her eyes brushing the page curiously.
The pen travels across the paper,
Letting everyone know its history.
Where is has been,
And where it will.
The pen travels across the paper,

A smile pulls at the corners of her lips,
A perfect heart.
He leans over her shoulder and glows:
"Perfect."

About
I started writing free-form poetry in high school. Most of my poems have darker themes - those are the personal ones. If they have a lighter theme, chances are it was a contest prompt of some sort. .. more..
