I'm here to keep a track of my works as they reflect me at different times in my life. I appreciate honest reviews. I try to return the favor done.

I re-examined my idea of a good poem. I came to realize that- Setting standards or limits to what could be called as an excellent work of poetry is like limiting the human potential. (Poem is like music) While some poems can touch the heart & invoke emotions in you, some poems stimulate you logically. Some poems can please all or some of your senses. Some poems can speak to your soul the stories that are untold. Some poems can establish a rapport with a chord in your spirit.

It's not necessary that you have to like all the poems. Personally I try to seek some value in every poem. If you have set some standard and come to read a poem consumed/blinded by expectations, there's little that you can gain. But if you free your mind & can notice what is not obvious otherwise, you open up to new ideas & broader thinking.

And BTW mind/consciousness is separate from the body.
