I'm a transplanted Yankee living in Texas. I am married to a wonderful man for 35 years. I have two children and three grandchildren. I'm in the medical field. I love to write poetry and stories, I paint and draw, I love to read all types of literature, I enjoy listening to classic rock, big bands, jazz, country western, Celtic and much more. I enjoy fishing, walking outdoors, camping, watching hockey and football, and traveling (but don't get enough time for that). I have two dogs, Speckles and Darcy and a cat named Patches. They are spoiled rotten and aren't afraid to show it! I love summer but winter depresses me. That's why I transplanted to the south.
