First Impressions  October 29, 2009 - January 1, 2010

One of the most important aspects of any story is the first impression. Can you capture the readers attention? Can you enthrall them? Stir their imagination, their curiosity? Submit a story opening using any creative means necessary to get the reader interested. Opening paragraphs, first chapters, prologues, and songs/poems are all acceptable. All genres welcome. All submissions must be original, recent work. Submission that have already won awards are not allowed. Two submission limit. Good luck.
