Yes, it's an old story (1970) I happen to have the original paperback. No, that's not the prize. We have the same awards and can only ship the awards to the USA (haha kidding).

"Love Story" is a beautiful tale of love and the author, Erich Segal, as of 2006 is still alive. Check this out...(compliments of Wikopedia...)

...Erich Segal was born on June 16th, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Harvard University. He taught Greek and Latin at Harvard, Yale and Princeton. Erich Segal made his name as a writer in 1970s by writing a book that sold over 20 million copies worldwide, that book was called �Love Story�. Later in 1970 he made his book, Love Story, into a movie.
To answer your question-- yes this is a history lesson not a contest.
