Originally from upstate New York, where the four seasons are, Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Pothole Cussing Season...I decided to move to the Land of Endless Summer...the Deep South.
But I find myself missing the beauty of autumn, when the trees dress up and the air is crisp with the scent of apples and maple syrup. I actually miss the smell of burning leaves, and the sound of leaves rustling under my feet...
So...I'm looking for your best poems and stories about Autumn....poems and stories that might help me to ease my homesick blues!
