Wagtail Warrays Words  October 1, 2009 - December 30, 2009

Reading and Deliberating

Details

'Ello. In addition to being a writer (Of sorts), I'm a musician. Actually, I write far more in notation than english, and I often find myself with more musical ideas than I have stories to accompany them. That's where you come in.

I'm going to be starting a new side project (Something I do fairly often, but that's neither here nor there) called Wagtail Warrays Words for which each album shall be focused upon a single story written by someone other than myself. The idea is to take my perspective of a work of art not of my own creation and in turn create art that reflects my idea of your idea.

So... the contest. Just submit any short stories (Or groups of thematically linked poems, just submit one and send me a message pointing me in the direction of the others) that you might like to hear presented in a rather unorthodox style of music and if you win your story will be the focus of an album.

Important notice: All music produced in relation to this contest will be released entirely for free in mp3 format. By submitting work to this contest you consent to have that work recreated by me in a musical context. Full credit will be given to the writer in association with the album.

Prizes

Having your story made into an album of experimental music.
