Don't sweat it hon'. I am still doing work on it and made changes to the beginning. I have noticed other people say that it seems too long and usually that means "This doesn't grab me" and given that the original beginning was somewhat slow, I can see why. Take as much time as you need with it.
I would definitely recomend the writing course. Writing is all about breaking the rules but you have to learn them before you can break them, figure out the best way to shatter them to pieces. Something like that would help you piece things together for sure.
BTW I hope i'm not being a pain in the a*s but would you care to review this?
Hey everything is doing great. One of my short stories is being considered by the same british magazine that published me before. I sent some of my poems to a literary magazine called WELTER but they got rejected but that's just all part of the process.
Other than that my life is boring, i'm just an old grump LOL Here in kentucky everybody either goes to church or goes to jail and I just try to stay far away from both LOL
