Lonely Darkness

Lonely Darkness

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

The cold freezing my eyes

My tears start to fly

I’m alone in an icy abiss

Just me, without a wish

Darkness of the word

Surrounding every sound

I keep my hopes to myself

Praying not to make a sound

It’s eyes are dark as night

It’s soul impure, but bright

I’ll take my time to cry tonight

No matter the struggle of this fight

Alone I’ll be, Alone I’ll must

The cold of darkness

Is weak in compare

The cold of loneliness

Is darker than it’s heart
