Uninvited

Uninvited

A Poem by Ace Jaxon

Cleaning off my bedroom walls

Throwing away old letters

Deleting yesterday's messages

Trying to forget it all over again

All the plastic faces

And cruel desires

I never want to try it again

Fake positions every time

All the simple lies

Telling them I can’t show up

I’m not allowed

The truth is I never want to feel

Uninvited ever again

It's a horrible feeling to not be included. Most would like to be invited. Different thing altogether if once you are invited you don't show. The author appears to be quite upset with herself in this poem. Good expression Ne.
