The Love of Autumn

The Love of Autumn

A Poem by Reuben Porter
"

A love poem, about someone with their love walking down a heavily wooded street with the leaves falling around them.

"

The flame of hearts and souls ignite,
in the dead of Autumn night,
all around angels take flight,
and here with me, a more beautiful sight.

Angels dance around our heads,
as from the trees they fall and shed,
wearing robes of brown, gold, orange and red,
with her with me, my love is fed.
