In The U.K

A place that is filled with fun!
Its colourful!
Its raw!
Sometimes there is sun!
The people there are warm
With a smile on their face
There is laughing Intermittently,
That comedy carpet is Great!
Yes, I know the sea water is not as good...
But this place has a fine spirit!
So I encourage you,
You should-
Visit this place that has a Theme and Waterpark,
The piers and the many Coloured sticks of rock,
And excellent street art,
The regeneration is great,
It looks real slick,
A great place to start,
The city has begun again to tick,
A place where hardworking People,
Do what they can,
Watching the tide roll in,
On the beach, a woman Kissing her man,
The Tower is so Iconic
You cannot help but see,
It towers over Blackpool
Painted Redish burgundy,
On The North Pier,
A great structure in the skyline,
Go up and see the view,
It really is quite fine,
And at the end of the day
Have a cold beer,
Watch the sun go down,
The disco lights are up,
The parties,
You can hear!
The hen and stags have arrived!
Dressed in their bright gear,
On the promenade,
They don't hide,
In the morning,
They shall fear,
Questioning why they had drunk so many cans of beer,
There is a new buzz in this city,
Lots to see and do,
A new heart beating to this place,
I'd check it out if I was you.

"i'll go to blackpool for me oliday" man, i remember the rock candy with the word "blackpool" inscribed all the way through...used to love it as a child in london....this is a delightful little picture of a wonderful resort town. wonderfully penned!

do they still wrap them up in newspaper? that used to freak my sister out, hell, it never bothered me...i just dug right in!

Some polystyrene trays, some plain newspaper without the ink,I think it depends on the chippy really :) i bet you want to pop to a chippy now! You really cant beat fish n chips :)
