The Sunset Keeper

The Sunset Keeper

A Poem by Andrea Vargas

Fierce winds,

and acid field rain,

envelope me in a feeling of pain,

and shroud me in darkness,

in this chaotic mess,

watching as my heart pours out of my chest,

then with a swift hand,

they clutch my soul,

and drag me down to the world below,

and along the way,

I see such fiery hate and endless pain,

it torments my mind,

as i struggle to stay sane,

and as the feeling grows deeper,

I search for my sunset keeper,

who knows me well,

and can pull me out,

of this endless firey hell.

Very good read. I also like the use of hope at the end. Good job:)

This was amazing Andrea.
I search for my sunset keeper,

who knows me well,

and can pull me out,

of this endless firey hell.

Nice work Andrea, with a little hope at the end which is always nice...I loved the title
