Eco Exploite` (The monster devours himself)

S. Dali's work 'Cannibalism In Autumn' inspired this poem. I was drawn to the self devouring figure and later to the faces of beasts in the landscape as well as the face of Goddess in the clouds

Mountains slumber
Gaia watches
Her children
Gaze into oblivion

Fools consume
Consume the world
Consume so ravenously
They themselves
Are consumed

Right on,
Powerful yet simple, we most definitely destroy ourselves in an attempt to gain and then inevitably destroy the ground our kingdoms are built upon. Imagery, your a master painter with it.
