A Poem by Christian Bonoan

She, the one you've loved before
the one who caught your eyes
why did you look at her eyes
the way you look at mine right now

She, who have this very long hair
the ones you've brushed before
why ask about her tonight
if you are with me this very night

She, who never cared for you
the one who left you out cold
why still bring her warm gifts
and give me old cold days

She, who loves somebody now
somebody you thought your best friend
But still, why think of her in your dreams
instead wiping off my tears

She, the one I drowned with my tears
the one you saved from the sea
why save someone from the past
and leave me alone this fast

She, who doesn't look at you at all
the one who threw your heart away
why choose to go back to her palm
if I'm asking you inside my arms

She, who made me feel this way
the one who took my place
why was my worth wasn't seen
is it because I am just a boy?

Ang ganda naman ng tulang ito...hehe

this reads very smoothly. softly but packed with emotion. punchy ending. repetition of 'She,' in each stanza is quite effective. a catchy, sorrowful read that holds and leaves its mark.

If it only worked that way.... unfortunately love is an emotion you can't control... you writing brings out the pain incredibly well. Good job!

like a dog chasing his tail, when he catches it he knows he made a mistake,,why look back at the past instead of the future, look at the one that loves you
