A Walk With Me

bathed in the filth of failure

I sigh and smile

and you are there

imperfect beach of broken shells

comforting warm sand

these shores lacking fear

I breathe and smile

sweet sea of possibilities

waves of welcome hope

piercing the fog about us

I lead all while

you carry my direction

cradling our forgotten passion

and the sun leaves

reminders of then

burns of now

and vision of later

with u
