Intricate

Intricate

A Poem by Cae

Our fingers intertwine
Oh so intricate and fragile
As ice in dead of winter
It carrys through the bite of summer
Where incorporal ghosts hide in our closets
Ignoring them until it wants to bite at our ignorance
Idyllic times are the dreams of lovers
I say let's swim in pools of that idyllic infinity
Where skin fades to iridescent energy
Incapable of being lost
With fingers intertwined
Oh so intricate
