Oh Captain, Oh Captain. Where are you now?
I have known you as a clown, a doctor of love and kindness for the sick. The Poet who taught children to love words. You taught me the value of life. You made me laugh and cry often. Now like a gentle leaves in the breeze, your memory had left us with sadness for you faded away and left us too soon. I wished I knew you. Your smile and face became part of us. You were like a friend we wished we had. Oh Captain, Oh Captain. You left us too soon. I pray you have found comfort and happy place to rest. I know some people are with us for a short time. Bright lights who made our life better and taught us to laugh and cry at human strength and weaknesses. Thank you Robin. Coyote © 2014 Coyote PoetryAuthor's Note
