                            Pretty Jen

Was I running toward you or running from you?

You were so damn pretty and so confused.

I loved you once, in 1986 and we were just babies. We try to use-up every second like it was our last.  I found you again in 1988, our love more tender and kind. In 1991, we tried for the third time. We tried three times to stop our world. Become one and we could not.

I have wondered often. Was it me? Or was it you?

I know now, pretty ladies decide to stay or to go. You and I. We were the moon and the sun. Rarely touching and barely attempting the glory of the commitment of love kiss.

Pretty Jen, we are just photos, just some regret.

I remember us. Lovers, midnight talkers, stealers of kiss and touch. We were too scare to attempt love.

I pray you have found happiness. Life is wonder and miracles, also love is the ultimate sweetness.

I remember us. You would wrap your long legs around me and you would whisper. Love can be sweet, love be damn.

Sadness here Coyote. Some people can find it hard to live in a relationship. Three times, here means that you both tried very hard. Sadly some things just aren't meant to be, but that doesn't take away all the good times and fondness you had for each other. I hope you have both found your happiness, while retaining your fond memories. Lovely touching words.

Love is a funny old thing Coyote, sometimes you instantly find your soul mate. And at other times. You have to go through lots of dates and relationships to find that special person. And at other times. Like you. You go back often to that special one. Maybe fate is that for you and Jen. Those golden moments you share together over the years. To wanders who are soul mates. But spend portions of great times together. Then drift to be who you are as yourself alone. Then re-connect again. That is still special. As you understand each other.

I think we all have a pretty Jen in our lives, when the timing for love was not right however many times we tried.
No point looking in life's rear view mirror when there is so much to discover on the road that stretches ahead.
