Cry a tear

Cry a tear

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
"

My first published poem. Some small press put in in 1979.

"
                              Cry a tear

My heart still can bleed with pain and loss still.
Tears can fall when the night appeared and when your memory
reappeared.

The tears of loneliness.
Loneliness of losing you completely.

I could have survived without your kiss.

But never seeing your beautiful face.
Blessing me with hearing your sweet voice.
Leave me empty and alone.

Your love of life.
Is much too difficult to forget.
I miss the long talks and laughter.

Days have passed since our parting day.
And your memory still lies heavy upon my mind.

Sometime so heavy.
The thought of you make me feel weaken.
Not to tears.

The tears had faded way on a cold rainy night
when I left you alone in your bed.

The sadness of our goodbye is always on my mind.

It was the last day I could see the life in your eyes.

Wow Coyote this was so sad, so beautiful, so... I can't even fine the word that your pieces make me feel. Like I am above all, looking down, and your words just appear and softly they absorb into me, my thoughts, inside all. Like magic it is, your writing has such an effect it is amazing.. This is beauty, for I can feel it..

To say goodbye.....always a harsh fact of reality, love, you always poignantly place the words just where they should be and how they should be read! Amazing poem! You Sir...ROCK! xx

This is beautiful. Loneliness and losing someone are some of the hardest things to cope with. Nice work.

This is very very sad, tragic even. The pain of missing someone when you know they are gone forever. You will never see them again in this world. Sadly, most people feel this pain. You're poem really brings the reality of that home.

yes...sad...but important...it seems as if the writer needed to write those words...as a form of closure or letting go...at least that's what i got from it...i loved the soft way it reads and leaves an image of the good times love can bring and the lasting loneliness it leaves behind when we grow apart...i loved the ideas and emotions shared in this piece...

I can see why that was published, very powerful... the sadness of losing a love is bittersweet, you appreciate what you had but miss stillhaving it.

This was an incredibly sad poem, very honest and strikes very deeply. Goodbyes often place a lot of heaviness on our souls, and your sadness here feels both honest and true. Pure, also; as you
"could have survived without your kiss.

But never seeing your beautiful face.
Blessing me with hearing your sweet voice.
Leave me empty and alone."

It shows the innocent side of love, which is, of course, easier to miss.

This had so much feeling in it, amazing. The descriptiveness of your emotion was outrageously fantastic. "The tears had faded way on a cold rainy night When I left you alone in your bed." This doesn't tell me what happened, where, or why, but merely that it's over, done, painfully wrapped up and stored away into that place that no one ever goes.I like it a lot, but I think my favorite part of it all was the first stanza. I'm a big fan of leaving choppy little thoughts on the new line and praising them for standing alone.
