Liquid Wind

Liquid Wind

A Poem by Cherrie Palmer
"

the wind

"

Liquid wind cool and smooth

flowing freely as you move

Skipping through the trees I love and

stirring leaves to the sky above

You speak so softly, and then scream so loud,

you’re new each morning

though you're centuries old.

ahh the wind - it reads riddle-ish at times I'd forgotten it said wind and was thinking at the end ooo what is it, what is it lol the wind is a magical thing - invisible yet powerful - a force all on its own - and even more so with other things (fire/water)!! nice!

My Dear Writing Friend,
You have given a clear visual of what can’t be seen, excellent job. I have always loved the fact that man with all is attempts to control his environment cannot control the wind. But once one stood in a boat in the middle of lake and rebuked the wind, it subsided. It is freeing to rest in such power, if He can guide the wind He’ll be able to direct it into my sails sending me in the direction I would be of best service to my fellow man. I just have to hoist my sail. An excellent write.

Blessings, Laughing-Bear

I think I read that on a nudist colony dedication plaque once.... lol.

We don't take time enough to consider the presence of the wind. Nice of you to remind us so eloquently CP.

Great description of the wind you have created, and full of movement, and sounds.
