No One is a Monster

No One is a Monster

A Poem by Chris M. Monks

No one is a monster.

Everyone is sick.
Everyone has issues.

Some people are sick physically.
Some emotionally.
Some mentally.
Some spiritually.

Everyone is sick.
Everyone has issues.

No one is a monster.

Sometimes sicknesses have monstrous symptoms.
Sometimes sicknesses can cause people to do monstrous things.

People are not defined by their sicknesses.

People are not monsters.
No one is a monster.

Everyone is sick.
Everyone has issues.

No one is a monster.
