To My Sweetheart

To My Sweetheart

A Poem by CompellingComposer
"

A poem for my boyfriend. I love you!

"
You make my heart beat
You are the very best
You keep me smiling
From my awakening to the time I rest

I only want to hear your voice
Because phone calls are not the same
I want to see you in front of me
Face it, pictures give reality shame

I want to see your handsome smile
I’d love to see my sweetheart’s face
Loving you when your so far away
It’s exhausting as a long, long race

You are the sweetest
First place in my heart’s contest
I love you so much
You are the best

Sweetie, I love you
And I can’t wait for that moment of bliss
When we see each other in person
And you give me a kiss

But I’ll remember I’m always with you
Even though we’re miles apart
You’ll still always be able to find me
Inside your heart

You have a very lucky boyfriend! This poem made smile. :))) I was wondering though, on your first line, is it "my" instead of "me?"
Very nice!
