Raindrops ascending in defiance
A summer as cold as ice
Sorrow without condolence
All in embracing strife

Entrapped in a simple maze
With an obvious glaring exit
In pain from your own set blaze
Wishing unattainable perish

No answers, no motive
Time keeper for no reason
Nothing worth holding
Just waiting for next season

No clues in your semblance
Just unique in demeanor
Hoping for acceptance
While seeking to be keener.

Thank you very much for your poem at my contest. I have to search on internet cause I never heard before about it. So I think it's great you make poem about this. How you write down bellow it's must be really hard for a child deal with this every day. I cannot really imagine how difficult it's must be. To feel anger and irritable moods every single day. Thank you much! ODD is still an obscure and misunderstood condition. I wanted to give a glimpse of the internal darkness that children have to face every single day. Yet at the end share the wish all these kids have. To be normal. Poetry can be used ti bring awareness. Thanks for your feedback!

Angel, it's true. I enjoyed more than 20 years evaluating disability claims. Childhood claims tugged at my heart. I so wanted to reach out to each of these kids and give them a hug. Poetry is wonderfully healing. All the best to you, Angel
