I crashed.

My eyes slit open.

Wild sea attacking me through waves. 

Defeated in the sand I lay.

My boat shattered.

My body broken.

But the spirit of me

and the spirit of my boat;

not soft or yielding

 but more strong and luminous than ever before.

I keep rowing.

I got to keep rowing 

because the world is still rolling.
