Paint Stains

Paint Stains

A Poem by Decemberist
"

Painting love.

"

You don’t seem to mind

The paint splatters on your shirt

The red smudges

Mimic my blush.

I witness your hand moving,

A dainty brush wrapped inside.

Delicately, carefully

With slight twists and turns

Of your long, bruise fingers

You create magic

That paints love in my mind.
