A Poem by DeliriousCerises
"

Inspired by a book, what I imagine it would be like to be able to see the future

"

I walk the rivers

     winding, splitting, and crossing

                        No matter what I follow

                                 I come to the ocean

Each river hold it's own tale

Where it has been

Where it will go

                                   How it'll shape the land

                         The widest, the swiftest

                 The deepest, the strongest

           Current, is most likely

The path of each rain drop

I walk the rivers of time

I do not know where they lead

I do not know where they've been

                       I simply follow the paths

And tell their tales

I don't know why but I could never write poetry. It requires a greater sense of detail, of which I've never mastered. I love water and your vision for this poem is mesmerizing. I see the walk, the rivers and the wonder. Nice, I liked it.
