All by myself, how worse can it get.

The serenity of this silent crib rid me of my joy
Sadness crawl on me in bulk
My footsteps are lost
Pattern never what i've got
All around me i see null but emptiness stuck
Am alone in this world
Myself is all i ever had
I enjoy the moment
I forget the rest
But the whispers
They are what matters
The wind so gentle with the tides
They always whisper together
The gentle breeze caress
And the water rush on my feet
That is all i get on this island
I've seen the storm
But i still hold on
One day my saviour will come
Am the pathetic stranger
I want to return
I want to meet the world.

What beautiful words .. but then your entire poem is very lovely .. you use such gentle phrasing and express sincere thoughts .. the ending is superb: ' One day my saviour will come Am the pathetic stranger
I want to return I want to meet the world. '

There is such a sadness that flows through the lines here... a loneliness in those moments... Yet, there is a hope that is inspired by the coming of your saviour.. to open the world to you. Beautifully written.
