Victim

Victim

A Poem by Destinyxi

Victim

His eyes glitter gold
And follows the movements
All around him.
Forms of different shapes
And different sizes
Not everyone is the same.
He should know that
But he doesn’t
He only liked specific ones
And goes after specific people.
He spots his victim
And watches her
As she leaves.
He follows slowly
And very quietly
Making sure
That she doesn’t know.
He notices her hips swaying
And how tight her clothes are.
He liked that
Very much.
He was ever so happy
That she didn’t know
Anything about him.
Her skirt barely covered
Her long shapely legs.
She turns the corner
And now is his chance.
He strikes her
As she yelps.
He covers her mouth
With his merciless hand.
She bites his finger
And he curses
Just letting her go.
She whirls around
And faces him.
Her eyes widen
And she gasps.
She yells
And runs away
The man
Who had striked her
Was someone she knew
She couldn’t believe it
What has he become?
The man she saw
Was her father
