Hello, November.

My sweet serenity.

Enrapture me in your brisk chill.

Your sweaters and hot cocoa. 

Your bright spirits,

Awaiting the month of December.

Gorgeous yellow sunsets,

Turning my eyes a golden brown.

Flecks of black, standing out like the extended nights.

Leaves turning brilliantly vibrant shades of red and orange and yellow.

Big boots,

Scuffing across the icy streets.

The smiles,

And laughter,

Shot up and all around,

As families are brought together.

New smells,

Beautiful places to explore.

The scream of a train speeding across the rails.

chugga-chugga-chugga!

Breathe in

The life

Of sweet November.

"chugga-chugga-chugga" .. yes but that was before my time and yours I suspect. Nice how it reminded not of a train but of hot chocolate (or worse). Still, this is very colorful and personal and exudes a certain wonderful resplendent charm. I like it. :)
