Unrealistic expectations,

In the magazines,

On tv...

Everyone wants to be perfect,

But in fact,

Perfect doesn't exist...

Well it does, its just different for you and for me.

That girl over there, she's perfect.

You are perfect.

In my own way, I am too.

You don't have to beautiful to be perfect.

You don't have to be the most loved person ever.

You can be normal and be perfect...

And trust me you are...

So put away those pictures,

Stop trying to change yourself,

Stop wanting to be someone you're not,

You are you.

And you are perfect...

Dedicated to all those who hate who they are. Someone somewhere is wishing that they can be half as good as you are... Btw everyone, the pic is one of me and some of my friends, the most strange yet most perfect people I know... Judge if you must, keep in mind, I honestly don't care :)

A blessing of a poem. Full of inspiration. Sometimes it so hard to let go of the preconceived notions about who we think we are, that we become blinded to the reality of what we can be for ourselves as well as for those around us.
Letting go of our own self punishment is that first and most crucial step.

Very inspirational speech about perfection, and how everyone is perfect. Though, I beg to differ. It works the other way, actually. You will never look upon yourself with true, meaningful love. If so, we would have no insecurities. I look at it this way, you will hate yourself, everyone else might hate you, but there will always be one person whether you know it or not, that looks at you as if you are perfect.
Anyways, keep up the good work!
