Pressure Washed

Pressure Washed

A Poem by Empirik

Working in the sun atop the roof
Pressure washing emotions allege form
Eliminating feelings between the cracks
Built up over many years of certain habitats

What a difference high powered water makes on your soul
Like the first time in a foreign country when looked at strangely
Charisma cleaning the gutters
Leaving a fresh surface

Ready for the winter ahead
Poised to protect and keep one warm
Just sitting back
At sunset listening for her horn

This is enchanting how good you used a clever metaphor... Short but always so meaningful, the ending is splendid I heard you definitely....
